About this fact sheet
Recent PhD research found that native insectary plants can increase the presence of predatory arthropods (natural enemies and good bugs). Insectary plants provide food, shelter and alternative prey/hosts, which nourish and support the presence of predatory arthropods. In turn, predators provide ‘regulating’ ecosystem services, which involve biological suppression of vineyard pests.
