Join agroecologist and viticulturist Dr Mary Retallack, founder and custodian of EcoVineyards
The EcoVineyards performance system applies agroecology in a practical, vineyard-ready way—helping growers build resilience to extreme weather, improve productivity and profitability, and reduce reliance on synthetic inputs. It demonstrates the value of stacked enterprises and integrates fit-for-purpose agtech tailored to real vineyard conditions.
Winegrowers across Australia are adopting regenerative and ecological practices to improve soil health, establish resilient groundcovers, and enhance beneficial biodiversity—resulting in stronger, more stable vineyard systems over time.
